#1370, Belgium Browning Superposed Grade I 20 Bore Made the First Year of 20 Bores in 1949, 26 1/2" vent rib barrels at .618" .008" & .012" (Skt.II. & Mod.), Factory original marked Skt. & Skt., Original 2 3/4" chambers, Marked "Browning Arms Company St Louis Missouri.", Single selective trigger, Game forend, Small and open pistol grip stock at 14 1/2 x 1 5/8 x 2 1/2" over the factory double ring horn buttplate with "Browning" in one ring and "Superposed" in the other, 6 lbs. 10 oz., Typical 1949 engraving with about 15% coverage, The original barrel blue at 96%, The original receiver blue at 94%, The original stock finish at 90-92%, The checkering at 99%. The bores are bright and shiny and look nearly as good as they did 65 years ago. Here is a vintage 1949 Browning Superposed that remains in total original condition. A very solid gun that is in excellent mechanical shape and remains tight to the face and it remains ready for the next 65 years with the ideal Skeet II and Modified factory chokes.
