This is a new in the walnut case and shipping box S&W model 57 first series (no dash) .41 magnum. The revolver has a light turn line but every other mark seen in the pictures is dry oil from the factory. The walnut case has the paperwork and cleaning tools as well. The wood is warping at the bottom seam but this is not uncommon.
