An original 20 round box of Benet internally primed 50-70 cartridges. These were the primary rounds issued by the US Army for all their post Civil War rifles and carbines, with the exception of the Spencer rifle. These rounds were also utilized on the Western frontier by the numerous Buffalo hunters of the day.
