This scarce Pre series 70 factory nickel 1911 is rather hard to come by today as only 2 % of production was done in the nickel finish. The gun retains all of the original factory nickel and does not appear to have been fired more than a few times. It has the proper grips and no loss of nickel anywhere, just the usual surface scratches that are normally found on any nickel gun. It comes in an original period box. Mfg. in 1970
