This Reminton was made in July of 1947. This model has the easy to use side mounted release button for the take down feature. This 22 shows no use at all. The internal parts show no use. the bolt face shows no shell ring. The wood stock and forend have no marks or blemishes. This gun would rate a very strong 99% condition! The action is the Browning Patent for the bottom eject 22. Browning still use this style for their 22 auto rifle today. Remington's version is better made and easier to take apart. This Remington is a sweet little 22 and pleasing to the eye. The rust blue finish is great looking and the color cased trigger is nicely done. This rifle would make any Remington collector envious to own!
