Bore is about a 6 to 6+ in that it has pretty good rifling but also mixed with some shallow pitting and lead build-up. It may clean up a little, but best to assume that it will probably be a close to mid range gun (50-125 yards) at its best. VG metal with a thin grayish patina, decent wood, and long-range rear sight and pinched blade front. The set trigger does need some adjusting, as it is keeping the hammer from catching at full cock …otherwise it is fully functional. A very good pre-1890s Winchester in one of the most popular calibers and also a single set trigger. VG-VG+ $2495 SOLD Antique: Yes
