Description:
Made from 1936-1948 as part of the 53 series of boys rifles. Box is excellent with perfect end label that states Western Field and Number 439. bolt action .22 (all types) by Montgomery Wards. Cover of box has some great early artwork. Action is stamped Wards Westerner. Barrel is stamped Springfield Model 53-B. Retains all the original blue finish. Mint bore and action. NSN. Nice stock . Has an old 1958 newspaper as packing. Never found in the original box and should be a good shooter as well. SALE PENDING
