Description:
We are selling our 40 year collection of Winchester rifles and offer one of our favorites. It's a Deluxe 3X wood 1895 Lever action take-down Rifle in caliber 30 US Mod 1906 ( 30/06 ). In addition to the take-down feature is has a 24 inch Rapid Taper Round barrel and a buckhorn sight. It retains at least 60% of its oriiginal blue and is fitted with a red, correct for the period, "noshoc" recoil pad. The premium wood has a repaired crack that runs vertically just aft of the finger lever that needs only to be filled in to look even better than it does. It came out of the factory in the World War I year of l916. The bore is bright and shiny doesnt' appear to have been fired much. This is an unusual and somewhat rare combination of a Deluxe rifle with extra special order features. We've place a dollar value of $7,995 on it but will listen to all cash or trade offers on it.
