A very clean Carcano 1942 rifle with a 27 1/2" barrel with a good bore,and sharp rifling, and corrosion down in the grooves from corrosive primers.The metal is full arsenal blue, with color fading on the barrel, with no rust or pitting. Action works good, and this is a good shooter.European hard wood military stock is very clean , and possibly re-finished. Stock number matching the frame numberes with a cleaning rod. Has Crown over FAT 1942, and made in Italy ..This is a clean Carcano, and would make a good shooter for the 6.5mm caliber. Stock has a large cartouche dated 1947 when it was rebulit and reissued .I hope you like my wide selection of unusual guns.
