This iis another beautiful all original Smith & Wesson New Model number 3 in 44 Russian with the standard 6 1/2" barrel in scarcer blue finish. Overall, the metal is as clean and fresh as new retaining at least 60-70% of the original untouched factory blue, shiny as new in some areas while pleasently blending to patina in others. It sports a wonderful pair of checkered walnut grips. Nice areas of case colors on hammer and trigger guard. Action as tight as new. All matching numbers everywhere. Bore is near mint. This gun saw very little use. A very popular gun, it competed favorably to the Single Action Army and was a favorite on the frontier with both lawman and outlaws alike. Of course, it is an antique made prior to 1898 and can ship right to your door. It comes with a vintage antique gun fighters holster and belt. The holster is stamped 44 on top loop. Belt is early roller buckel with loops for both .44 handgun rounds as well as large rifle loops for big calibers such as the 45-70, 45-60, etc.
