The action is smooth and crisp in both single action and double action timing is correct on this rare medium frame revolver. The finish retain 90 % original nickle with some loss on the receiver and of the back strap. the grips show smooth even wear with no chips or cracks and appear original to the revolver.This also has a fold hammer spur with patent date of Jan 27, 86. the suction is very good and works like it supposed to
it will raise spent shells for removal and keep live rounds in cylinder because they are longer.this also has a loading latch cover. the trigger & hammer display fadding case colors
the bore is bright and shiny with visable rifiling on a scale of 1 to 10 is an 8 ++. the serial # 15,0xx
denotes circa of about 1888. Acording to Flaydermans catalog less the 2500 of the Pocket Armys produced in 38 cal were ever produced..........This has the Skull crusher with birds head grips these are very scarce and with 48 years of collecting my overall comment is this is an authentic original lovely peice
