Description:
This Enfield built bayonet is dated 53 on socket, a very late date for this piece. Otherwise this piece shows typical marks with broad arrows and serial number. Socket and first inch of blade show 80% black paint finish over worn blue. Blade is bright with a couple small stains. The brass throated scabbard shows matching serial number and retains 60% black paint finish. A late production No 9 MK 1 with matching scabbard.
