Magnificent full stock, circa mid 1800's perc. pistol with SST, full coverage deeply cut bold scroll engraved lock with hammer block safety marked "L. Bossel", false left sideplate marked "in Suhl" & upper tang with key adjustable rear sight. Etched damascus 7" oct. barrel signed, "LORENZ BOSSEL in SUHL"inlayed in silver. Bore appears fine with multi groove rifling. Ornately carved and checkered grip with small silver decorative brads, scroll engraved german silver grip cap, TG, ramrod pipes and incise carved detail on fore end with original horn tipped forend & ramrod (FE key appears to be a replacement). This exquisite piece is all original except as noted and possibly unfired.
