Enfield No 5 MK 1 Jungle Carbine, Caliber 303, Serial 25XX.
This is a rather nice WWII conversion by the British Fazakerly Arsenal. The gun still has about 90% of the original arsenal finish. All parts are proper however the bolt is not numbered to the gun.
The wood is really quite nice with at least 80% of the lacquer intact. There are some small nicks and dings as is expected. This gun has the flip up tangent sight which is a nice feature. The bore is bright with very good rifling but does show some modest use.
A lovely find for the WWII collector or shooter.....$495.
