For sale is an unfired as new in the box a Wild Bill Hickok Commemorative. Wild Bill was a very colorful fellow and was known as a legendary lawman and probably the fastest gun in the wild west.
Very rarely do you see one of only 350 of these produced wordwide for sale. This is number 265.
Very few of the Winchester Commemoratives were engraved by the famous Bottega Giovanelli of Italy ; The Wild Bill was one. The nickel receiver was engraved on both sides of the receiver ; the right side with a pair if colt 1851 navy revolvers; and the famous aces and eights dead man's hand etc. The left side features a head and shoulders bust of Wild Bill and elaborate scoll work throughout.
