Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Money Order, and Cashier's Check Description: This carbine was barrel dated second month of production November 1942. Serial number 1004605 with the serial number starting at 1000000. Has the correct "I" stock, double bevel trigger housing, correct operating rod and other internal parts. The barrel is original to the reciever and in fine clean condition. The stock has the correct ordnance wheel and Winchester WRA GHD in box. The hand guard is the correct bull nose style. The sling is a correct unissued World War Two sling. From all the research I have done so far, this is the earliest carbine known. The earliest part of the war saw the most loss of equipment due to ships being torpedoed and sunk, heavy battle loss and equipment wear out. I picked this gun up some time ago. When I got it, it needed a correct stock and parts to make it correct to 1942. I would be glad to discuss this gun to a serious buyer as to what needed done. Most of the parts are new unissued condition. The other parts are in very fine condition. This carbine has the correct early Winchester Du-Lite finish. This is a very rare early Winchester in very fine condition. This would show well in any collection! I would love to hear of another carbine that is earlier that is complete for 1942!
