The price in the listing is for the rifle WITH a ZEISS CONQUEST 4.4-14 44mm scope and SAUER EAW QUICK DETACHABLE mounts, already mounted on the gun and bore sighted. You will have to finish sighting the rifle in before going hunting. The scope and rifle are minty as are the mounts. The scope refualrly sell for between $500 - $$650 and the monts refarly sell for $450-$550. Recent health issues have led to the need of my selling all of the extra nice guns that I have in my gun collection. This rifle is of the very highest quality and should appeal to both the collector and the shooter. This is a very rare rifle that is seldom seen. It is an outstanding, superb mid 1980's to early 1990's GORGEOUS MODEL 200 LEFT-HAND EUROPEAN LUXUS MODEL takedown Sporting Rifle by Sauer & Sohn (Germany) in the popular .25-06 Springfield Caliber. A EUROPEAN LUXUS MODEL 200 is a very rare rifle, and in left-hand, it is extremely rare. It looks very European, with a conservative appearance European oil finish, with a contrasting Redwood European style Snauble forearm tip. This mid-1980's early 1990's vintage Sauer & Sohn Model 200 rifle is in gorgeous condition. While it is loaded with features, it is European conservative in appearance, with its oil finish, and subdued European look. It is elegant and not flashy, as is the high gloss polyurathane finish, of the almost as rare, seldom found, American Luxus Model 200. The more commonly found Sauer Model 200 rifles are the Standard Model 200 and the Lux Model 200, of which I have other examples also listed on Guns , along with other Sauer 200 original extra magazines and accessories. Both the European Luxus Model and the American Luxus Model are seldom seen, with left-hand models very rare, and in a left-hand version, very rare indeed. This gorgeous European Luxus Model 200 rifle, while conservative European in appearance, is loaded with deluxe features that include: Original Sauer factory Owners Manual; jeweled bolt; Sauer deluxe spoon bolt handle: factory installed open sights; European style oil-finish high quality stock and forearm; Contrasting European style Snauble forearm tip; palm swell for left-hand shooter; ventilated black rubber recoil pad and factory Sauer push-in detachable swivels. This very rare rifle is an outstanding example of the seldom seen German-made Sauer & Sohn Model 200 Left Hand European Luxus Bolt action take down rifle. The LOP of this rifle is 13.75 inches.
