You will have to finish sighting the rifle in before going hunting. The scope and rifle are minty as are the mounts. The scope refualrly sell for between $500 - $650 and the monts regularly sell for $100. It is an outstanding, superb mid 1980's to early 1990's GORGEOUS MODEL 200 LEFT-HAND AMERICAN LUXUS MODEL takedown Sporting Rifle by Sauer & Sohn (Germany) in the popular .270 Winchester Caliber. AN AMERICAN LUXUS MODEL 200 is a very rare rifle, and in left-hand, it is extremely rare. It looks very American, with a high-gloss polyurathane finish (much like a Weatherby Mark V), with a contrasting Redwood forearm tip and grip cap. This mid-1980's early 1990's vintage Sauer & Sohn Model 200 rifle is in gorgeous condition. It is loaded with features, and comes in the lightweight version with the alloy receiver, and includes a montecarlo stock for better use with a scope. It is elegant and yet not flashy. As indicated, this rifle is a seldom found, American Luxus Model 200. The more commonly found Sauer Model 200 rifles are the Standard Model 200 and the Lux Model 200, of which I have other examples also listed, along with other Sauer 200 original extra magazines and accessories. Both the European Luxus Model and the American Luxus Model are seldom seen, with left-hand models very rare, and in a left-hand version, very rare indeed. This gorgeous EAmerican Luxus Model 200 rifle is loaded with deluxe features that include: Original Sauer factory Owners Manual; jeweled bolt; Sauer deluxe spoon bolt handle: factory installed open sights; American style high gloss finish, upgrade European Walnut stock and forearm; Contrasting Redwood forearm tip; palm swell for left-hand shooter; ventilated black rubber recoil pad and factory Sauer push-in detachable swivels.
