Description:
S# 562877, 38-55, 26 inch round barrel, very good bore. This 1911 mfg rifle features a semi-buckhorn rear sight, No 21-A front sight and crescent buttplate. Barrel and mag tube show 90% blue with scratches , wear, and an area of pitting and bright metal on left side around patent markings. Receiver shows 40% blue with flaked areas a brown patina. Frame shows a deep scratch on right side with many small marks. Lever and buttplate show muted case colors with brown staining. Wood is sound with many marks from use and a large gouge near toe. Barrel is import marked on left in front of forearm. A very good .38-55 for hunting or display. FFL or C&R
