Description:
This is a 34" fixed choke (mod/imod) 20 ga over/under barrel for an MX2000 Perazzi. The forend was made and serial numbered with the barrel and is gorgeous SC3 wood. Rib is 2mm height (flat and level with the receiver) and 11mm wide that tapers down to 7mm at the muzzle. This gun was built as a 12 ga and 20 ga matched set with two forends. I am not selling the receiver or 12ga barrel/forend.
Barrels weight is between 1.59 and 1.62 KG on a digital scale. It appears to be stamped 1.84 KG but the numbers are a little hard to read. I have weighed the barrels multiple times on my digital scale and it consistently reads between 1.59 and 1.62KG. I have also weighed the 12 ga barrels and they read between 1.59 and 1.62KG also. So I am not sure if the barrel stamp is just mislabeled or what, but I can tell you I know what the barrels actually weigh.
I have shot about 1200 20 ga shells through these barrels total. Selling because I now shoot a carrier barrel with tubes for this Perazzi when I shoot sub ga events. These barrels point very well when on my Perazzi MX2000 despite being 34" in length and total weight of the gun is 8 lbs 9 oz with the barrels and forend on the gun. Makes for a very nice 20ga gun! Not a single mark or scratch anywhere and no blueing wear at all. It's like new!!
