Comes with Navel cone mount attached to wood on wheels. rolls very easy across the floor. Barrel is dated 1895, it is a Mark 2, Exp, D&S co, see pictures for other writing on barrel. 59" barrel, 101 pound marked. I would guess total weight is about 300 lbs. Now thats with barrel,. brass yoke, and cone mount, with brass deck locking ring. Cannon appears to be all correct, with the expection on the shoulder mount. I can not confirm that is is not a replacement. There are no known pictures of a mark2 exp on file. However this one has a picture drawing by serial number on page 75. The book is "A Gun for al Nations" by Robert A. Mellichamp, Vol 1, 1870-1913. Everything works, firing Pin, pull cord, etc. Bore is gone, or very little. Was on display at the 59th Missoula gun show, held at the Univ of Montana. Won best of show! A very nice looking piece of history. Six D&S one pounders were on the USS Maine, when blown up.
