This fine Winchester came from a high end Winchester dealer in central Iowa. We have used his description on the firearm.Winchester M70 standard 30govt06 Pre-war. SN 35XXX, 75% orig blue and wood finish, ex bore, lots of various wood marks and scuffs and a small compass in the butt stock, no extra holes in action, non orig Redfield peep sight and a blank in barrel slot, orig steel butt, no cracks in stock, missing hood, been hunted hard but still very sound with unaltered action. Mfg 1941.
