Description:
This is one of those that was made with the wrong patent date. The patent date is " Aug 14, 1894" in place of Aug 21. This is the only one I have ever encountered. They are suppose to be falling into 350k serial range and that is right where this is. Gun is in terrific cond. Cal 30-30. It has a 3-leaf platinum lined rear sight. Mint bore. Gumwood stock has just a few light handling mars. Considerable amount of varnish remaining. Carbine style butt plate. Bbl and mag retain about 98% vivid glossy blue. Receiver has about 95% bright glossy blue with just a little flaking on the top left. Shows very little use. Hammer and lever have nearly all the vivid case colors remaining. Complete with orig saddle ring. This is the only miss-dated 94 carbine that I have ever seen.
