Rare 20 bore over/under gun with 26" barrels, raised file cut solid rib.  Original 2-3/4" chambers, choked improved cylinder and modified, bores measure as new.   Southgate type automatic ejectors, classic configuration, double triggers, straight hand stock.  The small gauge scaled action measures 2-3/16" from the trigger plate to the top of the rib!  Brilliant case colors over the entire action serve as a vibrant background for the fine rose and scroll engraving in the pre-war style and execution.  Highly figured stock measures 1-3/8" x 2-1/4" x 15" LOP to a checkered butt.  This stylish little O/U was originally ordered through Abercrombie & Fitch for Dean Witter of Dean Witter Reynolds age fame, and delivered in 1936.  Complete with the original leather trunk case with maker's label, and all accessories, including original labeled oil cans, maker's turnscrews, and all the other trimmings. Weighing just 6 lbs, only a handful of 20 bores ever produced, the quintessential quail gun!
