Smith & Wesson model 49 Bodyguard .38 special. Round butt, 2” barrel, blue with S&W monogram wood grips. This is the all steel version of the Chiefs Special with partially shrouded hammer. If it was fired, it was “test fired” only. The retains over 98% original blue with a very slight cylinder “ring” and light scratches on the bottom of the trigger guard. Made in 1976/77 it is in the original blue two-piece box with all paperwork and cleaning accessories.
