Description:
LC Smith Long Range Field Grade Serial Number R 120172 made circa 1929. This is a great vintage big LC Smith. The shooting qualities of these factory Long Range shotguns are legendary. It features 32" barrels with factory 3 inch chambers and full and full chokes and three position safety. The length of pull is 14 1/4" from the front trigger over a correct Hawkins pad. There are NO cracks that we can see in either the stock or fore end. Nice original checkering. Nice shooting dimensions. Drop at heel is 2 3/4" and drop at comb is 1 3/4". Weight is about 8 pounds 7 ounces. This fine Smith retains most of its original case color . The bores are bright and shiny and the barrels are straight. The barrels have been nicely and correctly reblackened. This shotgun is tight and ready for the duck and goose blind. It is a very fine looking LC perfect for the collector and shooter.
