SOLD. Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” Bbl. This is a good condition Remington New Model Army Revolver in transition serial range showing the dove-tail cut for the front sight (period replaced). This guns shows use but is in over-all good condition. It is in a dark gray patina showing about half of a very faint two line barrel address (New Model at the end of the two line address) Matching SN 21271 on barrel and frame. Functions properly. Good Action. The grips have good wood to metal contact. The barrel and cylinder match.The trigger guard shows aftermarket nickle plating. Priced right for a gun most likely issued to a Union Cavalry Trooper during the war or to a Confederate from private purchase due to the early number range.
