DUE TO LOOMING HEALTH CONCERNS, I AM SELLING MY ENTIRE RIFLE COLLECTION. Please be aware that I am offering this hard to find 1970 BELGIUM BROWNING GRADE II BAR IN 243 WIN CALIBER, because of looming health issues. The rifle is in 95-97% original condition, so i have graded it as 95%+ for the purposes of this listing. While it is not in full collector condition, as are most of my rifles, it is, nevertheless, in nice hunting condition with only numerous small imperfections, and no glaring scratches or gouges. As you are already aware if you are looking at this listing, a full Belgium made BAR Grade II 243 semi-auto rifle is very hard to find. The rifle features a hand-engraved scrolled receiver with animal heads, original Belgium Browning butt plate, 24 inch barrel and the standard 14 inch length of pull. It features a detachable magazine for quick unloading and reloading without having to rack out all of the bullets each time you unload. Please be aware that I have three additonal magazines for this rifle that I will make available for purchase by the purchaser of this rifle. Should the purchaser of this rifle not purchase all of the extra magazines, they will be listed separately in another listing. Because of the five shot capacity of the rifle, this was to be my main hunting rifle for stalking deer, but at age 76, health considerations have cut that all short. If you have been looking for a nice Belgium Browning Grade II BAR in 243 Winchester, or just looking for a great hunting rifle in the popular .243 Winchester caliber, then you need look no further. Since this is a collectible and usable operating firearm. I will need a valid copy of a current FFL to whom to ship the firearm. It will be shipped to your receiving dealer via Fed Ex or UPS. Payment to be made via wire transfer, bank check or Postal Money Orders only. Please add $50.00 to the amount for shipping when you mail your funds, as I want to pack it heavy duty to protect the gun. The rifle will be shipped like I would want it shipped to me. It will be placed in a silicone SackUp gun sock, and then placed in a plastic hardcase, which will then be taped solidly secure, and then the hardcase will be placed in a cardboard shipping box. The rifle will also be fully insured for your protection. It is being sold "as is" and is not returnable. No adjustment will be made after sale. I am 76 years old and my sales are final.
