Remington military riot shotgun, U.S. marked on receiver and barrel with the flaming bomb stamp and lettered "MILITARY FINISH". Inspector marked RLP. Imp Cyl choke with 24" barrel.
Bluing is excellent, retaining the original military finish. Wood is also excellent with original oil finish. There is a small armory repair on the upper tang which can be seen in the photos. This type of repair is typical in the military small arms service centers. Cross cannons and military inspector's initials FJA are clearly stamped on the stock. Mechanically perfect.
This shotgun is a classic example of a fine period military shotgun which is hard to find in this original condition
