I have for sale a beautiful AYA #1 in 12 gauge. This particular gun is in excellent plus condition with only the slightest of handling marks. There are no dents, dings, or scratches that I can find, only one or two very slight impressions. The engraving, case coloring, and rust bluing are all equally in fine condition. I can see a very slight lightening of the case coloring on one spot on the lower edge of the receiver and this is the only wear I see. The gun comes with 27 inch barrels which are choked Improved Cylinder (.007) and Modified (.011) and have 2 3/4 inch chambers. Barrels are beautifully struck and finished. Bluing is in wonderful original condition. Wood is very nicely figured straight english grip with splinter forend with a hand rubbed oil finish and also in excellent plus original condition. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 3/8 X 14 3/4 over a very well done leather covered pad and slightly cast off for the right hand shooter. Weight of the gun is 6 pounds 11 ounces and balances just ahead of hinge pin. The gun features beautiful hand cut english style rose and scroll engraving, cocking indicators, articulated front trigger, rolled trigger guard, bushed firing pins, hand detachable sidelocks, and gold washed lock works with engine turned plates. Fit and finish is just as you would expect on a #1 gun, excellent. This is a seven pin sidelock and as such the trigger pulls are excellent.
