Description:
Winchester Super X Model 1 12 gauge Ducks Unlimited that was a prototype for the Mississippi Flyway Dinner Guns in 1981. The guns were to be featured with prints by Dr. Allen Hughes for each flyway. An inlayed duck from each flyway print was to be featured on the gun. This gun was prepared for Dr. Hughes' approval and is serial number MF 1. The project was cancelled for reasons unknown and Dr. Hughes was allowed to keep the gun. It is in the box, never fired, and comes with his "Mississippi Flyway" print which is also numbered 1 of 500, and signed. The gun has a 30 inch vent rib full choke barrel with 2 3/4 inch chamber and has gold inlay on receiver.
