W R Pape 16 Ga Jones Underlever 1882 production date per records. The gun has 30 damascus barrels with black powder proof. The stock is 14 x 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 with plain wood butt. It has a fresh browning on the barrels. The barrels were cleaned up but not all of the pitting came out. The bores are shiny and on the outside have a couple of minor type dents that do not show on the inside of the bore. The lockup is tight and the wood does not show any cracks or repairs.
