Description:
HAMILTON RIFLE COMPANY

Manufacturer of inexpensive .22 caliber rifles established by Clarence J. Hamilton and his son Coello. The company was established in 1896 on Plymouth, Michigan. The company ceased production in 1945. Most of these little guns were used hard and many did not survive. Hamilton rifles in excellent condition are hardly ever encountered.

Model No.27: Produced from 1908, the model 27 was chambered for the .22 rimfire with a 15” brass lined barrel. Walnut stock. The design has single shot with a loading port bwhinsthe barrel. The cocking knob is located at the rear of the frame. Blued finished. Approximately 234,000 of these rifles were sold.

Condition: Fine, this little rifle is in Fine condition with 40% of the original bright blue finish and original varnish on the wood. The bore has rifling and is shiny. Action works fine. Very rare in this condition. (13-78) $200.00
