Description:
A good working .22 cal short revolver made by S&W model 1 1/2 second issue made from about 1860 to 1880.this fine gun has most of it's factory original nickle finish with about 89% remaining with an area under the barrel with finish loss from removing the cylinder pin.Gun functions well, and indexes good with a slight wobble in cylinder. These antique guns not sold as a shooter as they chamber and fire .22 short black powder cartridges. The bore on the 3 1/2" barrel has sharp rifling and very clean shiny surface. The factory rosewood grips are very good with some flattening at the bottom edge. SN 60485. Overall a very good example for an early cartridge handgun.
