Description:
MY ENTIRE RIFLE COLLECTION IS NEARLY SOLD. THE REMAINING FEW ARE NOW LISTED. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO OBTAIN ONE OF THE LAST REMAINING WORLD CLASS FIREARMS FROM THIS COLLECTION. THOSE REMAINING INCLUDE TWO SMALL GAUGE BELGIUM BROWNING SUPERPOSED SHOTGUNS AS WELL, OF WHICH THIS LISTING IS FOR THE 1965 ROUND KNOB LONG TANG BROWNING LIGHTNING SUPERPOSED 20 GAUGE FIELD MODEL, WITH 26 1/2 "" MODIEFIED/FULL CHOKES. THIS GORGEOUS SHOTGUN HAS ONLY A FEW IMPERFECTIONS IN THE ORIGINAL FINISH AND IS GRADED AS BEING A SOLID 98 1/2% CONDITION FOR BOTH WOOD AND METAL. IT HAS VERY LITTLE USE AND IS TIGHT, WITH THE LEVER WAY TO THE RIGHT, AS IT WAS NEW. THE STOCK HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY SHORTENED AND A PACHMAYR WHITE LINE RECOIL PAD INSTALLED, WITH AN LOP OF 13 3/8". WITH THE SHORTER LOP AND WEIGHING IN AT 6 POUNDS (FRENCH WALNUT IS MUCH LIGHTER THAN THE LATER CLARO WALNUT MODELS), IT WOULD MAKE A SUPERB SHOTGUN FOR A SMALL MAN (SUCH AS I), A WOMAN OR FOR YOUR GRANDSON OR GRANDDAUGHTER.  I AM SELLING MY ENTIRE RIFLE COLLECTION. RECENT HEALTH ISSUES REQUIRE THAT I PUT ALL OF THE GUNS IN MY FINE GUN COLLECTION ON SALE. THIS BROWNING HARTMAN CASED LONG TANG ROUND KNOB BELGIUM BROWNING SUPERPOSED GUN (NO SALT IN 1965) IS ONE OF THE NICEST ORIGINAL FINISH BELGIUM BROWNING SUPERPOSED YOU MIGHT EXPECT TO FIND. IT IS IN ORIGINAL 98+ PERCENT CONDITION WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF HANDLING MARKS IN THE FINISH. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS OUTSTNDING FIREARM, PLEASE CALL ME AT 906-884-2000 BETWEEN 11AM AND 11PM EST. This beautiful shotgun is in its vintage Browning Hartman hard case with the instruction book and original key. Both the shotgun and the case are in outstanding original cosmetic and mechanical condition.  As indicated above, this gun has not been refinished and is in outstanding original finish, showing very little use. The original factory HARTMAN hard case is in the same EX+ condition and comes with the original key. This is an absolutely gorgeous gun. It is a joy to handle and point. The wood is very nice French Walnut, as found on the early long tang round knob guns, making it much lighter than the later models which were stocked in Claro Walnut. This is an original Belgium Browning Superposed Lightning Field gun. PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE THIS IS A HUNTING GUN, MODERN STEEL SHOT SHOULD NEVER BE USED IN A BELGIUM BROWNING SUPERPOSED. DO NOT USE STEEL SHOT IN THIS GUN! If you have been looking for an extra nice Belgium Browning Superposed Grade 1 Lightning Field Grade 20 gauge with 3" chambers, then you need look no further. You will not find a nicer one than this gun. I would never consider selling it, but at age 76 have decided to do so. Since this is a collectible and usable operating firearm. I will need a valid copy of a current FFL to whom to ship the firearm. It will be shipped to your receiving dealer via Fed Ex or UPS. Payment to be made via wire transfer or Postal Money Orders only. Please add $100.00 to the amount for shipping when you mail your funds, as this case already weights a lot before packing it, and I want to pack it very heavy duty to protect the case as well as the gun and barrel sets, so I will have a very heavy, oversize package to ship when I am done. I will pack this up like I would want someone to pack it up to ship to me. This shotgun is in full functioning condition and in gorgeous cosmetic condition. You will not be disappointed. It is being sold "as is" and is not returnable. No adjustment will be made after sale. I am 75 years old and my sales are final. Please do not buy it unless you agree to these terms. Please look at my other gun listings. You will find that I had impeccable taste and that I took excellent care of my hunting collectibles. My phone number is 906-884-2000 if you have any questions about this gun. I am usually available between 11AM and 11 PM EST.
