Description:
Strong muzzleloader made by Thompson Center, of Rochester, N.H. This 29" heavy octagonal barrel 7/8" wide has about 96% blue with staining near the lock. Bore is very good,with strong rifling. Has adjustable rear sight, and wooden ramrod. This vintage .50 cal has a good walnut stock with a few handling marks, but nothing serious.Brass furniture,and patch box.. Lock works good, and has much case hardening as does the hammer. A flint lock is rare in Thompson Center. Top of barrel has N.H. address an marked: HAWKEN. The flint has a shower of sparks. Has double set triggers. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
