Description:
French model 16 Lebel carbine made by St. ETIENNE. and has bolt that was arsenal renumbered. but the stock, and trigger guard are matching. Action works good, and the 18" barrel has shiny, clean bore with good rifling. Stock has a proof of 1902, and the barrel is dated: MA C 1917. Left side of barrel has a C C and a J in a circle and a C in a circle.French dark walnut wood is good with typical wartime dings, and scrapes , but no serious breakage, or issues, made without the handguard. Medal overall is arsenal blue,thinning out and is very good. This saw use in WWI, WWII.,Korean war, and Vietnam. A rugged carbine. Come with an old leather military sling, and a stripper clip that is attached to the trigger guard. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
