James Woodward Sidelock Single Barrel, 16 bore, 2 1/2" chamber, original 28" fluid steel barrel with original 1 oz. nitro proof and choked .028 IM, 14" LOP over a checkered butt, 1 3/8" DAC, 2" DAH, 1/8 " cast off, 4 lbs. 14 oz., extractor, straight grip, splinter forend with horn tip, short sight rib, automatic safety with "SAFE" in gold, backaction sidelock with fine English scroll engraving and "J. Woodward & Sons", fully renewed case colors, highly figured European walnut with fine re-cut checkering, barrel engraved "James Woodward & Sons, 64 St. James's Street, London". Excellent fully restored condition gun. Bore .667 and min. wall thickness .035. Can easily be lengthened to up to 15" LOP with a leather pad. A rare sidelock single barrel gun from this famed London maker. Circa 1906.
