Description:
Anybody that really knows custom guns has heard of Thomas Shelhammer who worked for years in Dolgiwac Mi with Neidner. This gun is simply outstanding. The Stock is marked T Shelhammer under the Neidner checkered butt plate along with an ID number. The barrel and action have no custom maker mark. The sightless barrel is 26". The bridge is engraved as is the floor plate and trigger guard. The bolt has the worm tracks that Griffin & Howe and Neidner both loved. Condition of the rifle is , simply put, as new with mint wood of the highest quality and mint blue. Bore and action are also mint. Early Redfield mounts and rings with Leopold 3x9 that has standard cross hairs. No way to tell the exact date of mfg but it is in the classic style and could have been produced from 1940's thru 1950's. It is a classic rifle in a classic caliber and in totally stunning condition and eye appeal and should shoot even better than it looks. C&R is fine on this one.
