Here is an original condition Westley Richards 10 gauge with an early "crab joint" or "crab knuckle" lockup. Manufacture date of 1875. Bar in wood construction. Patent dolls head rib extension. Barrels are 30" and exhibit a wonderful damascus pattern. Dolphin style hammers. One piece firing pins. Address is engraved on top rib - Westley Richards 170 New Bond Street London. Wedge forend fastening system. Bores in proof at .780 with Cyc chokes. Chambers at 2 3/4" . Excellent bores with no pitting. Minimum wall thickness is 42/1000. Barrel weight is 4 LBS 15 1/4 OZ. Overall gun weight is 8 LBS 10 1/4 Oz. Well figured wood with no cracks and period flat top checkering. Shipping is $40 and can be sent directly (antique). Small chip at toe of buttplate (visable in photo). Stock dimensions follow.
