Manufacturer: The Colt-Burgess lever rifle was manufactured from 1883 to 1885, this rifle is serialized 786.
Caliber Info: .44-40
Metal Condition: Full patina. The Rampant Colt stamping on the receiver is visible but worn (see last photo, and or see "Description" about more photos).
Wood Condition: The forearm wood has the usual hole caused by loading and cycling of rounds in the magazine tube, otherwise the forearm and the butt-stock are sound with no cracks (the photos tell the rest of condition).
Bore Condition: The bore is typical for firearms of this time period. There is some small areas of good rifling, but for the most part the bore has corrosion and pitting.
