Description:
A large round metal can measuring 11 5/8" high by 9 3/8" diameter made circa 1883. The round paper label is black printed on white reading "American Powder Mills American Rifle gun powder Office No. 233 State St., Boston. A.O. Fay President." FFG Granulation and complete with the screw top. Very good condition and as pictured in Bacyk & Rowe at top on Page 45. A rarity 6 can in the 6 1/4 pound size is considered "very rare" Bacyk at page 45. Powder Can.
