Description:
This Winchester 73 is a third model with an intrigal rail for the sliding dust cover. The gun is all original, untouched with a 24" barrel. The interesting feature is the oil finished stock and forearm. The walnut exhibits a very interesting grain that is also present on the forearm. I would speculate that the wood is definetly an upgrade from the factory. It is without question an eye catcher when viewing this rifle.
The gun was manufactured in 1886.
