#2941, Duane Wiebe Full Custom Pre-War Model 70 chambered to 25-06, The action made in 1937, 26" Krieger Fluted round barrel, Cryogenic barrel treatment, No barrel sights, Completely polished action inside & out, Built up & checkered bolt stop release, Three panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, 3 position custom wing safety, Straddle hinged floorplate with a neat forward sliding frontal release done by Wiebe, A great Jewell trigger, Jeweled bolt & follower, Polished receiver rails, A nice piece of English Walnut done by Duane Wiebe in a pure American Classic with grace and style, A Left Hand shadowline cheekpiece but it handles as well for the right hand, Complete with full wrap around point pattern checkering with a subtle and neat border, Skeleton grip cap & skeleton buttplate with wood checkering, Double screw sling eyes, 13 9/16" LOP over the steel skeleton buttplate, 7 lbs. 8 oz., This rifle is accurate and has been field proven, The blue remains at 92%, The wood at 88% with light and scattered handling marks, The checkering at 96%, The bore is excellent. It will handle 115 grain bullets extremely well with 3/4" groups & another group that is almost 1 hole, 100 grain bullets into 3/4" and 120 grain bullets into 3/4". The barrel is very nicely engraved "Wild West Guns - Anchorage". Here is another pure classic rifle with great taste that meets the eye well and comes to the left & right hand with ease. This is good looking American Classic rifle stuff that you can't replace for anywhere near this money.
