Description:
This 12 bore single barreled percussion shotgun by Joseph Manton
is in very good shape. The lock works crisply and the London proof marks
are visible on the bottom of the 29.5"barrel. The wood and finish are very nice
and the browning is intact. A check of the bore with a bore light showed some minor
very shallow pitting, but the bore overall is very good. I bought this shotgun about 20 years ago
at a London gun . The stock is free of any cracks and appears to have the original
finish.
