Description:
Originally introduced 1984 this series was limited to a run of only 500 shotguns. Choked improved cylinder/modified. ANIC with original tan canvas case with brass fillings. 25.5 inch barrels. Straight walnut stock with walnut beaver tail for-end. 22 flue-de-lis pattern. Gold –relief quail head. The engraving is a classic scroll style. The left side of the receiver depicts a setter flushing a bobwhite quail. The right side of the receiver depicts two bobwhites in flight. The bottom of the receiver shows a gold inlaid quail’s head in a circle with surrounding scroll pattern and “ONE OF 500” and “GOLDEN QUAIL” the scroll engraving motif is duplicated in the bottom of the trigger guard, along the metal on the bottom of the straight English-style grip and on the metal forend release catch and iron.
