proof, choked Modi?ed and Full. 28 bore is complimented with 28” chopperlump ?uid steel solid rib
barrels with 2 3/4" chambers, 1200 BAR nitro proof choked Improved Modi?ed and Modi?ed. The
stocks measure: 15 1/4" x 1 7/16" x 2 1/4", 3/16” cast o? respectively. 410 bore weight: 5 lbs. 5 1/2 oz. 28 bore
weight: 6 lbs. 0 oz. Special matched exhibition Turkish Circassian straight grip stocks with deluxe
engraved heel and toe plates and matching slim game forends with 32 lpi checkering throughout. Each
with complex relief cut acanthus ornamental engraving with makers name in cartouche styling on three
sides Further with gold line cocking indicators, double triggers,
automatic safety’s, vacant gold ovals, and gilded lock work complete this ?ne set.
The whole is Royal presentation cased by Vince Rickard in best polished oak and black Elephant hide
with a completely french ?tted Goat leather interior in Oxblood red with hand tooled 24k gold leaf
borders and Bu?alo horn capped lids. Cased including snap cap sets, oil vessel sets, ?ring pin can sets,
spare ?ring pins, cleaning rod sets, patches, brushes, jegs, cartridge extractors, vaseline jar sets, selvet
cloth, chamber brush sets and white dress gloves to handle the pieces.
A special Alligator style covered binder is included with correspondence from the maker including factory
letter, historical data, Purdey catalogs and booklets.
An exceptionally rare Purdey miniature set, never before seen in this museum quality con?guration.
