W.C. Scott 12 Gauge Thumbhole Underlever Best Hammergun. The action on this gun is very tight with a silver finish, crisp engraving, fresh strip and clean, Strong blue on the hammers and furniture, Purdey thumbhole underlever that is smooth. The barrels are 30" with 10 Gauge dimensions and permanent 12 gauge chamber liners installed by Kirk Merrington, thick barrel walls, strong barrel brown with nice contrast, 3" chambers and Briley chokes. The stock is a straight hand/ splinter with strong chequering and finish, 14 1/2" lop to a leather covered pad, 2 3/8" dah, 1 5/8" dac, 8lbs 12oz. 0180651 S278 $7500.00
