British Military Royal Navy Sea Service Flintlock Pistol, circa. 1770’s. 12,.577 (regulation) round steel barrel w/ (2) Tower Proofs and another crown on tang. Lock marked; “TOWER” on end and a “CROWN” over “GR”, with a small crown and an arrow to the right of the large Crown which indicate service under the Crown. Stock is in Fine condition with a few unnoticeable cracks, dings and dents and original storekeepers markings stamped all over it. Has the original belt hook with crown proof. Very interesting, and historical. Metal has almost no corrosion markings are very readable. Brass regulation furniture. 19.5” Overall length. A very nice example that could have seen service during the American Revolutionary War. In good working order, locks up well on half cock and cock.
