Model De Luxe .600NE Droplock Ejector Double Rifle
An exceptionally rare Grand De Luxe Droplock Ejector Double Express Rifle in
600 Nitro Express. Completed ca 2008. Weight: 14 lbs. 8 ozs. Stock dimensions:
14 5/8” LOP. Beautifully struck 24” chopper lump steel barrels have a engraved
quarter rib and makers name in gold with a single fixed 50 yd. blade with a large
gold triangle inlay. Calibre and charge are also engraved on the breech end.
Westley Richards patented hooded ramp over front sight with flip-up twilight
bead that is fully engraved. Spare detachable locks are cased and compartmented
numbered left and right in gold. Featured round body case coloured droplock
action with hinged floorplate. Dolls head lock up with top C bolting, sling swivels,
bushed firing pins, ejectors, double triggers, horn tipped splinter forend with
Anson latch, and safe in gold. Complex and deluxe full coverage bold acanthus
scroll with makers name in gold and a magnificent massive bull Elephant in a
savanna scene emerges from the floorplate all by master engraving artist Peter
Spode. The finest exhibition grade turkish circassian pistol-grip butt stock with
raised shadow lined cheek piece, vacant gold oval, engraved compartmented grip
cap, extended tang, and a thin 5/8” pigskin leather recoil pad complete the set. The
whole is cased in special polished oak and thistle bridle leather with a full
compliment of factory accessories, snap caps, striker disc removal tool, horn striker
block, nickel oil can, white dress gloves to handle the weapon, and tooling.
